Sweet as the cherry on top of my favorite cherry pie with added sugar sprinkled for good measure— you’re that sweet little girl.
We’ve made it to 9 months and have the battle wound to prove it (see under eye)!!
So here’s what you’re up to…
We’ve met two new friends this month— toothy number one and toothy mcgee numero dos. I’ve been...
Oh, Hi!
As I previously mentioned, I’ve been hanging out over at Awesome Baby Blogs this week as a guest editor!
Just wanted to link directly to those mama’s I chose for a special Follow Friday Edition, and link directly to the posts that I chose to highlight:
Courtney over at Where My Green Grass Grows. Alena over at Hey Laney. Sabine over at, well, Sabine. Clever little title. Martha over...
There was a situation....
…with the hair.
And I just couldn’t stop. The pictures. There are so many pictures.
I wanted to eat her— like literally grab her cheeks and eat her…
But instead, I took the politically correct route, and decided to take all the pictures.
I’m totally ok with this problem. I have a feeling there are going to be many many more of these moments. So...
Wanted to show my twitter friends some “tweet love” (see shirt) today and also tell you who I chose for the Awesome Baby Blogs Post.
Martha you won! I’ll be sure to tell you when your post goes up, hopefully next week!
Everyone else, thanks for playing along.
Hope you have a great weekend!
~K
PS- HUGE thanks to my friend Megan. Her daughter, Aubrey, is about a year older...
Calling All Awesome Baby Bloggers!
So excited about this!
I’ve been asked by my dear friends over at Awesome Baby Blogs to be a guest editor for the week of the 20th!
The great thing about Awesome Baby Blogs is stated very clearly in their icon (above), fair non-voting, non-competitive blogging at its best. They highlight blogs all over and ANYONE can join! They even have a search for you to find other baby bloggers in...
If you told me that my Valentine would be this snotty nose, slobbery, tooth sticking out (see it!), silly little girl, I’d tell you there’s no way I could ever be so blessed.
Eliana, you are my every breath, my brightest moments in life, my dreams come true, my biggest and best invention…
You are my Valentine today and every day going forward.
Love mom.
After being closed for two years for a complete renovation, Pullen Park finally reopened in November— just in time to introduce Eliana before the yucky winter takes over!
We’ve already spent several hours here walking around the lake, riding the train, swinging, eating their yummy locally made food, riding on the indoor carousel, and my absolute favorite, multiple...
Double the Blessings: "Expecting a Miracle" Photo... →
doubletheblessings:
My good friend and amazing photographer is offering an “Expecting a Miracle” photo shoot contest right now. If you are in the Apex/Cary/Fuquay/Holly Springs/RDU area please see the contest below then follow the link Tonya Mae Photography to enter and like her page. Also please feel free to…
There are so many sweet things I could say about this photo— and that’s what I planned to do… I mean look at that little cuddle bug. Look it!
But that’s not what we’re here to talk about…
Look at the INSANE baby hairs sticking out from my head on the right side.
The hair loss from pregnancy is legit y’all— I have my shower drain to prove it.

Anonymous asked: So not blog related but it says ask anything lol. I'm Canadian from Ontario to be more specific. Any ways, I have been offered a position in n.c and I'm weighing all the pros and cons. My question is exactly how southern is it there? I don't think I have a southern bone in my body and I'm worried I won't enjoy it there.. I guess I'm stereotyping since I've never...
Epic Fail.
It all happened so quickly.
I had the brilliant idea of giving Eliana a bath in the sink tonight. She just finished gobbling down green beans (see chest) and raspberries (see between her brows)— life was good.
It seemed fun!
It seemed exciting!
This is when my eyes get really wide and I make all kinds of cray little baby noises to make sure she sees that what we’re about to do...
Random happenings.
Well hello there BIG GIRL you….
You finally cut a tooth. Finally! The past 2 weeks have been rough. Lots of tears, lots of quick snuggles— I say quick because Eliana is not a cuddlier. She comes in for a quick snuggle and just when I get excited she pulls away— lots of whining for mama, lots of just all over grumpiness.
Sleep has been rough due to these little teeth coming...
